Clay Evers, P.E.

Biography
Mr. Evers received his Bachelors of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas. He spent 15 years in water and wastewater consulting before beginning his career with the City of Kilgore in 2014 as the City Engineer. In October of 2017, Clay took over as the City's Director of Public Works.

Responsibilities
The Director of Public Works directs the department through effective planning, staff management, and resource allocation; and assures the effective completion of projects and compliance with state and Federal regulations, City policies, procedures and goals.
