Peavine Road from State Hwy 135 N to Fritz Swanson Road will be closed due to construction from Monday, May 22, 2023 to Friday, June 30, 2023.
The City will be replacing culverts across the road as well as prepping the surface for an upcoming overlay with the assistance of Gregg County.
Changing portions of Peavine Rd will be fully closed and the remaining will be open to Local Traffic Only (local residents, school bus, and local deliveries).
All other traffic may utilize Goforth Road to the south as their detour route.
