Trash & Recycling

Republic Services is the provider of both the solid waste and recycling services for citizens in the city of Kilgore . Recycle collection and solid waste collection is on the same day. Make sure both carts are out by the curb on the customers designated day for pick up.

Request a Bulk Pick Up

Please call Republic Services to request a bulk pick up for items such as an old furniture or appliances at 903-986-5324. These items will not be collected with the regular trash collection, a special bulk pick up needs to be arranged.

All items can be mixed together and placed in the cart, no sorting required. All of the following items are recyclable:

  • Box-board (cereal, cake, and cracker boxes)
  • Brown Paper Bags
  • Cardboard
  • Junk Mail and Envelopes
  • Magazines and Catalogs
  • Newspaper and Newspaper inserts
  • Office and School Papers
  • Phone Books
  • Plastic Bottles (with necks only)
  • Plastic Milk Jugs
  • Tin and Steel Cans (rinsed)
