Kilgore Police Response to Fire Exposes Meth Lab

After the hotel was evacuated and the fire extinguished within the room, the cause of the fire was soon discovered to be a methamphetamine lab. Approximately 4.1 grams of Methamphetamine was recovered from the room along with laboratory equipment and chemicals commonly used in the manufacture of methamphetamine. Further investigation revealed a large amount of counterfeiting equipment along with counterfeit checks, counterfeit money and forged identification in an adjacent room.

The page contains photographs of wanted suspects and actual video surveillance footage of suspects committing crimes in Kilgore, Texas. By providing this information we hope the public will assist the Kilgore Police Department with the location and/or identity of these suspects which in turn will lead to their capture.

Kilgore Police Investigate Stabbing

Upon arrival, Police Officers found the Victim, a 26 year old male, suffering from a stab wound to the chest. The Victim was transported to Good Shepherd Hospital. Details of his condition have not been released. Charlene Marie Jackson, 50 years of age, of Kilgore, was identified by witnesses as the person who stabbed the Victim with a knife.

These steps were taken by School Resource Officers as a result of another student reporting being struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross Longview Street and recent accounts of pedestrian accidents occurring in Longview, Texas. The student was not harmed and the vehicle could not be located.
