2016 Sanitary Sewer Evaluation Survey

Over 40 percent of our sewer collection system is over 70 years old and requires some form of replacement or rehabilitation. We experience sanitary sewer overflows from our manholes and our treatment plant which put our environment and citizens at risk. To provide the highest level of sewer service to our citizens, the City is inspecting all 122 miles of pipe and over 2000 manholes to identify the areas that need repair or replacement. This survey will help us plan to efficiently use our sewer dollars for these projects.
