The Street Sweeping program is part of the Street Departments Right-of-Way Division and has one street sweeper with one full time operator. Approximately 1000 curb miles are swept annually on a rotating basis by quadrant. Each quadrant is swept once every three months with the downtown area being swept monthly.

TO HELP US BETTER SERVE YOU:

• Please remove basketball goals, bicycles, vehicles, trailers, brush piles and other items from the roadway. These things not only impede traffic but restrict the street sweepers ability to sweep the entire street.
• Please DO NOT sweep or blow yard waste/clippings into the street. Not only does this cause problems for the street sweeper but it is a violation of state law. (click here) for Code Enforcement
